MagicDraw RConverter 1.4 is released

What's New in MagicDraw RConverter 1.4

• Supports Category filtering: The user does not have to convert the entire project anymore. Category filtering allows you to select only what you want to convert.
• Supports Element Type Suffix for Model Property: If the same Model Property Name is applied to many Element Types, the conversion will append the Element Type Name after the Model Property Name in order to separate each Model Property with the same name for each Element Type.
• Conversion Monitoring: For each conversion, Rconverter will write a log entry in a resource file. The information will consist of every element that was converted. Or if the conversion was interrupted, then the log file will tell you the last conversion point and identify the cause of the interruption.
• Reported bugs fixed.

Formerly, the "cmdow.exe" file that was included allowed the window to be hidden that showed the message exchange status between MagicDraw and the interface to DOORS^TM or RequisitePro^TM.

What's new in DoDAF plugin 2.1 SP1

The DoDAF Plugin implements the Department of Defense Architectural Framework. This is a full-featured set of custom diagrams that government and contractors can use to quickly create architectures. The plugin includes 19 diagrams and 3 reports and includes our SysML plugin to create detailed Systems Engineering diagrams.

This Service Pack 1 fixes the following issues for DoDAF plugin 2.1 SP1:

• Icons are now correctly displayed in the content diagrams on Mac OS X for OV-5 Activity hierarchy, OV-4 Organizational Structure and SV-4 System functionality Flow diagrams.
• Users can now connect the System Function Action or System Data Repository elements with Object or Control System Data Flow relations in the SV4 Flow diagram.
• The documentation in the AV-2 report now looks more like a glossary or dictionary.
• Fixed an issue where the row header of the Matrix view became white when increasing the vertical of a row header (only the top row and the bottom row).
• Improved generation time of the AV-2 report when the usages for each element are included.
• Reports can now be cancelled durring generation.
• OV-3 report values "Sending Op Node Name and Identifier" and "Receiving Op Node Name and Identifier" values are shown correctly when needline is set for two directions.
• SV-6 report values "Sending System Name" and "Receiving System Name" are shown correctly when interface is set for two directions.
• SV-3 view now shows only qualified elements.
