SysML Support
The MagicDraw UML tool now has SysML support. The SysML plugin supports all SysML diagrams, including Requirements, Block Definition, Internal Blocks, Parametric and other UML diagrams reused by SysML. With SysML, MagicDraw adds support for additional specification, analysis, design, and validation of a broad range of systems and system integrations. SysML is also much more than just a software modeling technology because it supports modeling of multiple engineering disciplines including hardware, software, information, processes, personnel, and facilities.
SysML profile supports final SysML 1.0 specification (formal/2007-09-01).
SysML is packaged as a plugin to the MagicDraw UML tool and is available for separate purchase by new and existing customers. The SysML plugin retains all capabilities of award-winning MagicDraw architecture modeling environment with System Engineer perspective. The SysML perspective (the specific mode of the MagicDraw user interface for SysML modeling) includes SysML specific menus, toolbars, diagrams, specification and user interface. When in the SysML mode, we meet the specific needs of the SysML modeler, including the same award winning MagicDraw usability features.
