Japan’s Tokai University Adopts
No Magic Suite of Software Products
for Research and Development
Continued Expansion of No Magic’s Academic Program Planned
for 2012
Allen, TX, December 13, 2011: No Magic, Inc., the leading global
provider of integrated modeling, simulation & analysis solutions and
services, today announced that the company’s entire solution suite of products
(Enterprise Editions) has been adopted by Tokai University in Japan for
teaching and research purposes.
In
addition, No Magic will post sample research from Tokai University on its
website, which uses the company’s solutions, so the material may be accessed by
other universities, academic institutions and industry.
“No
Magic is delighted to be partnering with Tokai University with a
special-licensed version of No Magic certified UML and SysML training material
to be used by the university. The training will be translated to Japanese, and
then provided by No Magic for use around the world,” said Gary Duncanson,
President and CEO of No Magic. “As part of our partnership, No Magic is pleased
that Tokai University is adopting our UML 2 online training for students,
faculty and commercial companies wanting to provide UML training to their staff.”
“Thank
you for the opportunity to use this advanced tool,” said Shigeyuki Ohara, Tokai
University Dean. “With the No Magic solutions, our research can extend from
concept to implementation with single access.”
Tokai
University professor, Tetsuya Yamamoto added, “In Japan’s software industry, we
have seen enormous challenges especially in high-level designing, including
OOAD. Historically, Japan has rarely used CASE tools, focusing primarily on
implementation programming. With No Magic, we now have a total view from
concept to implementation and simulation, and this clearly meets the
requirements of Japanese designers, architects and developers.”
Over
the past years, No Magic’s Academic Program has seen tremendous growth, and No
Magic expects continued growth in 2012. This latest partnership with Tokai
University will help students and faculty achieve academic and career success.
“This
partnership will both assist the Japanese IT industry in competing in the
competitive global market and benefit it by supplying highly-skilled,
certified, locally-available resources knowledgeable in the latest modeling,
simulation and analysis disciplines,” said Mr. Duncanson.
