MagicDrawTM 7.0 Service Pack 1 fixes the following problems:
- Behavioral element cannot be removed from extension point specification.
- A Save is not successful after import.
- Some projects became corrupted after import.
- NetBeans integration tool did not work under MAC OS.
- Integration with Forte/NetBeans:
- Shapes cannot be deleted from the diagram pane using the Delete key.
- Problem integrating to MagicDraw with Eclipse 3.0.
- MagicDraw hung after transition edition.
- Module package tagged values were lost after loading a project.
- Save error during module export.
- WSDL Engineering:
- Component was not created in Component View package after Quick Reverse.
- Documentation with XML tags was not reversed correctly: only text before XML tag is reversed.
- Namespace did not exist in the root package and not found after reverse.
- C++ Engineering:
- Type was not generated when type modifiers are used for association ends.
- Generalization was not created after reverse.
- Set include path was not found under linux OS.
- Duplicated array attributes after code generation.
- Attribute was moved to the right after each code generating code.
- CORBA IDL:
- Erroneous warning about union element multiplicity.
- Only one class was created after anonymous arrays reverse.
- XML Schema:
- The illegal location of include statement.
- Code generation: Despite selecting to use spaces in place of tabs during code generate, tabs were added into source files.
- Common CE. Incorrect path representation in Component View package.
- C# Engineering:
- Reverse fails due to "\\" characters erroneous interpretation.
- Reverse worked slowly when large code files are reversed.
- Tagged value default value was not included into report.
- Code engineering options: Cleared header was restored after reloading a project.
- Incorrect position of generalization link arrowhead after using Class Diagram Wizard.
- DDL Reverse: Redundant error messages.
- The user cannot view and edit language options in MagicDraw UML standard edition.
- Diagrams Load Mode option did not work for modules.
- Report was not generated when component had resident elements.
- Used module path was not automatically added to the Module Path list.
Instructions for applying the patch for MagicDraw UML 7.0 Service Pack 1
We strongly recommend to use MagicDrawTM 7.0 auto-update feature instead of downloading
Service Pack 1 and installing it manually. Note, that Service Pack 1 file "patch.zip" is not designed to
update MagicDraw Teamwork Server. Please redownload and reinstall Teamwork Server to apply Service Pack 1 fixes.
MagicDraw 7.0 SP1 Client installation instructions using MagicDraw auto-update feature:
1. Start MagicDraw.
2. From the Help menu, choose the "Check for Updates" command.
3. Allow the auto-update to complete.
Manual Client installation instructions for MagicDraw 7.0 SP1:
1. Download MagicDraw 7.0 SP1 from here.
For MagicDraw 7.0 Personal Edition SP1 click here.
2. Make sure that the MagicDraw UML client is not running.
3. Copy the Service Pack 1 file "patch.zip" to the MagicDraw installation directory and extract it.
4. Start MagicDraw.

1. Download MagicDraw 7.0 SP1 Teamwork Server from your personal profile.
2. Make sure that the MagicDraw UML 7.0 Teamwork Server is not running.
3. Install MagicDraw UML 7.0 SP1 Teamwork Server.
4. Start MagicDraw UML 7.0 SP1 Teamwork Server.
